Changes

Well, lots of changes are going to happen here soon...

1) I start my new job in 2 weeks- yay!! I cannot WAIT!!!

2) Last week, I was in a car accident. Some young guy ran a red light and we crashed. I was totally fine, just very happy Elizabeth was not in the car at the time. My car..Not so fine. It was totaled. So once I get my settlement, I'll be new car shopping. This was one %$^ of a way to get out of cleaning my messy car ;)

3) Elizabeth and I will be moving to a place of our our own on 6/1. I'm really, really looking forward to having our own home again. I've so missed that... So I'm now facing the daunting task of trying to find affordable housing in the Boston area. Oy!

Meanwhile, we have had beautiful Spring weather the past few days. Today I think it was up to 70. Here are a few pics of Miss E at the playground and at home on the back porch enjoying the sunny day :)

Long time, no blog...

Hello! I can't believe it's beem so long since I've blogged...Things here have been good. Miss Elizabeth has been having a very hard time getting to sleep at night lately so it's been later than usual by the time I've been able to get on the computer at night, and I've just felt too wiped out to write anything. Bedtime went better tonight with Elizabeth, though, so I'm hoping this phase will pass soon!!!

Some really good news is- I got a new job! I start on 4/5. My current job is fee for service, meaning I only get paid when I see clients. No benefits, either. But my new job will be salaried, with sick/vacation days and all that good stuff:) I'm SOO excited!!! And relieved...

This past Thursday, March4, was the one year anniversary of Elizabeth's adoption finalization day:)

Elizabeth and I have been going to the Y to go swimming on the weekends. She loves the pool and asks me every morning if we can go. She also loves her bathing suit with the flowers on it. I really wish I had pictures, but since it's just me with her in the pool, it's kind of impossible.

All in all, life is pretty good. We've had Spring like weather here for the last few days. I know it's just a tease, but I'll take it! It was great being able to take Elizabeth to the playground yesterday.

The other day in the car, I was being goofy, and Elizabeth said, "Don't be silly, Mommy. You're a grown up." Alrighty then...
