Loving summer!!

I gotta say- Elizabeth and I are loving our summer so far! We are settled into my parents' condo (while they're up in Maine) for the next couple of months. Things are good right now. Really good. I have to be honest and say...the last nine months, since we moved to Boston were not easy. In fact, I'll just come right out and say- much of it sucked. BUT...things are so much better now. I have a new job that I like, summer is here, Elizabeth and I are in our own place...Life is good :)

Today, we went to a lake with some friends. So much fun!

Summer is here!

We had a fun weekend, with lots of water related activities- which of course made Elizabeth very happy :) On Saturday afternoon, we went to a nearby lake. This girl has no fear of the water...

Next to the beach is a very nice playground, which helped Elizabeth feel less sad about about leaving the water area.

And I bought us a little plastic pool today, which we both enjoyed after Church.

Later this afternoon we got a brief rain storm. What kind of mother lets her kid run around outside in bare feet to splash in dirty puddles? Jeesh!

Visit with friends

Friday night, my friend Heidi and her daughter Julia came to visit us. The girls had so much fun together :) And could they be any cuter? I think not...

Today, some other friends I've had since high school visited, with one of my friend's son. I could kick myself for forgetting to pake any pictures. Ugg!! Anyway, it's been a busy, fun weekend so far!

Memorial Day weekend

Well, Elizabeth and I are all settled into my parents' condo for the summer. We had a fun holiday weekend, complete with a Memorial Day parade!
