Wonderful weekend!

This month is my parents' 50th (!!!) wedding anniversary, so our family celebrated by getting together up in Maine over the weekend. We stayed at a beautiful inn and had the best time! Elizabeth absolutely loved getting to play with her cousins and aunts, uncles and grandparents :)

Elizabeth had so much fun running around outdoors all weekend with everyone, and staying up very late on Saturday night, that this is what I saw in the back seat on Sunday morning within ten minutes of leaving the inn...

She slept for almost 2 hours on the ride home, then we stopped for lunch. It was such gorgeous weather, I couldn't bear to end the weekend yet, so we stopped off at York Beach, where she made some new friends :)

This and that...

Busting out some bullets:

*Elizabeth and I are moving out of our current house later this month. We'll be living at my parents' condo over the summer (while they're up in Maine). That is great because it will give me more time to find an affordable apartment for E and me by September :) Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!

* Elizabeth has 2 current obsessions: One is- wearing her bathing suit (to bed even!), and the second is going for a ride on "the choo choo train" into Boston, which passes right by my parents' place.

* Still loving my new job, my coworkers are awesome!

* My parents' 50th anniversery is later this week-wow!!! On Saturday night the whole family (my parents, my brother, SIL and nephews, and my sister and BIL are all having a special dinner out and spending the night at an Inn in Maine- I can't wait! I'm so excited to see my sister, who is flying in today from Colorado :)

That's all I have for right now. Life is good :)

Take me out to the ballgame (and the playground)!

Some pics from my nephews' baseball game today...

Happy Mother's Day!

Today has been a great day. This morning we went to Church, then Grandma and Grandpa's house for lunch. After that, I treated myself to a Starbucks Frappachino while Elizabeth snoozed away in the back seat ( I LOVE Starbucks drive thrus!!). Then later, we went to my nephews' baseball game. At least I think there was baseball being played- I spent most of my time chasing Miss E around the playground. :) She is one happy, funny, amazing little girl, and during the times I feel tired, stressed, overwhelmed, etc...I just look at this little face, and it's all worth it. I love being your Mom, Elizabeth!!!
