A fun day off

Today was a state holiday, Patriots Day, so Elizabeth and I both had the day off :) We spent most of the afternoon at a really cool playground with our friends Misty and Paden. Enjoying some ice cream after an ice cream truck conveniently pulled up next to the park...

Later, after we got home, Miss E still wanted to be outside, so we went out back and she played with some of the kids in our apt. complex. She was not happy when we had to go inside finally for dinner.

Yay for Spring!!

Today we went out to a friend's house, which was right next to a pond and a playground. The weather was beautiful today, so all the kids had a great time at the little beach and park. Spring comes slowly and reluctantly to New England, so this weekend was a real treat :)

Catching up

Elizabeth's first time bowling at a friend's birthday party a couple of weeks ago. She loved it!!

Things here are good. Elizabeth is at a children's concert right now with a friend, so I'm at the Starbucks enjoying a little free time:)
