Splashy Sunday!

Today we went to Elizabeth's school friend's birthday party. It was held at a really cool park with sprinklers. Needless to say, E was in Heaven :)

Saturday at the Pond

On Saturday we had a break from the rain, although it was still cool and cloudy. E and I went for a long walk around Horn Pond, which is very nearby. Sorry some of these pics are kind of blurry...

I gave up trying to keep her out of the rain puddles...trying to keep this kid away from the water (any water!)is...impossible!! :)

Summer is here!

The pool at our apartment complex is open!! Yay!!! We had a great day today with our friends Misty and Paden, along with the other kiddos who live in our complex.

Party at the zoo!

Today, Elizabeth and I went to the birthday party of a school friend at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. Even with the cool weather and rain, we all had a great time!

Boy do I feel old!

Today, Elizabeth and I went to the high school graduation party of my old college friend's daughter. Looking back, I remember I was one of the very first people to know about Katie. In 1992, I was living with my friend Jen and her husband in Norfolk, VA. Jen's husband happened to be away (he was in the Navy) when Jen decided to buy a HPT. At 6:30am one morning she came running into my room, saying "Oh my God, guess what??!!" And about 8 months later, Katie arrived, while I waited out in the hospital waiting room:)

Play date at the park

Today was a beautiful day, and we met a school friend of E's at a park for a play date this morning. So much fun!!

This park also has a pond next to it. I didn't think to bring a bathing suit for Elizabeth, but that didn't bother her in the least. Luckily I did bring a change of clothes. Have I mentioned that she loves, loves the water?
