This was taken on Mother's Day. It's very hard lately to get a decent picture of Elizabeth. She has become pretty resistant to having her picture taken, and refuses to smile...
Anyhoozles...to catch up....
- Easter was kind of quiet. Elizabeth had a stomach bug, so we spent much of the day at home cuddling on the couch and napping. That was actually nice, since she isn't usually still long enough to let me cuddle her! We did make it over to my parents' house late in the day for a little dinner :)
-Work has been a roller coaster ride of
stress. The program I work for is funded by the state, which means that my job is only guarenteed until June 30, the last day of the Fiscal year. We found out a few weeks ago that the state is not going to renew our funding for fy 2011-2012, so our program will end June 30. So I spent a pretty icky couple of weeks thinking I was going to lose my job. However, last week, our program director was able to get enough funding for next year to keep our program open, just on a smaller scale. The good news is: I get to keep my job! Phew!!
-Mother's Day was nice, E and I went to my nephews' lacrosse game and she got to play on the playground and GET.AN.ICE.CREAM.FROM.THE.ICE.CREAM.TRUCK!! She picked her fave, the Sponge Bob ice cream pop. :) My mom was there, so we got to hang out with her for a while too, which was nice.
Not too much else going on. It's hard to believe my baby will be 4 in 2 months...!!
