Wednesday afternoon, just hangin' out...

We are home this afternoon waiting for the repairman to come install a new range, since my oven and two of the burners aren't working. Elizabeth is also going to be picked up by her socialworker in a little while for a visit with her birth parents. Hope I survive it...!

Here's just a little Elizabeth cuteness, happy day before Valentine's day everyone!

Our first swim class!!

We had our first Mommy and me swim class at the Y this morning. So much fun. Elizabeth loved it, she splashed and kicked and was so relaxed in the water! I enjoyed meeting some other moms, and dads, too.

Long distance baby shower

On Friday, mom and her friends back in Winchester, MA threw a baby shower for Elizabeth and me! I was so bummed not to be able to be there for it, but mom sent me some great pictures. Sure looks like those ladies had fun!! As you can see in some of the pics, they had a blown up picture of Elizabeth's face and attached it to a doll. Too funny :)

Thank you so much, ladies!! I'm so sorry Elizabeth and I could not be there.

Miss G strikes again!

Elizabeth's Day Care provider once again reduced me to tears by making my baby girl look like a...toddler!!!! She is so beautiful and adorable I can't stand it!!! :) Ugg... don't you hate it when moms brag about their kids?

Week-end update

Thanks to a generous gift card from John and Luiza, Elizabeth has a new dresser, which she desperately needed. Since the dresser came from IKEA, I got the fun job of putting it together!

Here's the before picture:

4 hours and 2 beers later...

Ta Da!! Yay me, I did it!!

Luckily, Julie came over and entertained Elizabeth while I did this all Saturday afternoon!

Here we are on Sunday, all ready for the big game. We had such high hopes.

I guess we all know how that turned out...

"Hmmm...I'll get you Eli Manning, if it's the last thing I do..."
