I'll start with my usual apology for my lack of posting. I really do love blogging, but since we moved back east, I've just been slacking, for one reason or another.
Anyway, not too much news here. Just a few tidbits:
- Elizabeth is getting her H1N1 shot today. The Dept of Public Health is actually coming to her Day Care this afternoon and giving it to those kids whose parents are present and want it. I'm nervous about it, but feel like it's the right thing to do. Elizabeth had a cold a couple of weeks ago that luckily didn't turn into the flu.
-Elizabeth LOVES her Grandparents and Cousins. She has so much fun when everyone is all togather. That makes this move all worthwhile. Just wish Aunt Betsy was close by, too!
-Going to be honest here- I am missing San Diego. A lot. I'm so glad to be close to family, etc. But I lived in San Diego for over 7 years. It's a big adjustment. I'm trying, really trying, not to dread the winter looming ahead.
-Elizabeth turned 2 years and 4 months last week. How did that happen???
-I may possibly be somewhat biased, but I believe that Elizabeth is the smartest, funniest, cutest most awesome 2.4 year old girl, you know, ever... :)
That's it for now!!!

Thanks for the update! Just give it time and little by little you'll adjust.
Xoxo
Hi Anne!
Thanks so much for the invite to your blog. I actually gasped when I saw your baby girl, she is gorgeous!!
We got the H1n1 for Charlie too, and I don't regret it. Both my husband and I are in high-risk locations on a regular basis and we felt it was best to get the vaccine.
As for missing your old home base, I think that's probably to be expected. I haven't moved in several years now, but as a child and teen we moved a lot. It was always an adjustment, but inevitably I would come to the conclusion that it was for the best. But I get your feelings about winter too...that looms large here in Michigan as well.
Thinking of you...

Wow, all this time I actually thought your little avatar picture was of a doll, and it turns out to be your daughter! She really is gorgeous!
Snow is horrible. No getting around it.
I'm sure that the winter will be something of a shock to your system after 7 years...but wintertime is fun too, in it's own way. :)
Of course she is! :)
That shot HURTS. :(
